WHERE CAN I GET BOOKS?
As a Swanzey resident, you qualify for a card at Stratton Free Library in W. Swanzey, and will be welcomed. Two neighboring libraries have offered collaborative borrowing privileges to MCUL patrons for the duration. The Richmond Town Library in Richmond will offer a free non-resident card to MCUL patrons. Keene Public Library in Keene will offer MCUL patrons 18 and older (children may borrow on a parent's card) a free, 6-month non-resident card allowing borrowing of the physical collection (none of the streaming services, sorry!) You will need an ID and your MCUL card to establish an account with these generous libraries, and your account with MCUL will need to be in good standing (bring back those overdue books!).
